Photo exhibition at Ex Post

When I recently met Ondra Janů late at night in a Prague club, we exchanged a few words about exhibitions, about how we hadn’t seen each other „hanging“ anywhere for a long time. We had no idea we would see each other very soon…

From 19 April 2016 you will have the chance to visit, at the Prague gallery Ex Post, an exhibition called DRESS CODE – TATJANA WARNECKE. Behind this special title hides an exhibition of photographs by three authors brought together by a common theme.
Michaela Džurná, Ondřej Janů and Jiří Růžek (that’s me 🙂 each photographed their models in their own style, but all of us used erotically to cosmically tuned outfits designed by the Berlin designer Tatjana Warnecke.

The exclusively black clothing, whose owners include Nina Hagen, is not the only peculiarity of this exhibition. The exhibited photographs by all three photographers have not been published anywhere yet (and some haven’t even been shot yet – another round of shooting awaits me tomorrow). Besides the photographs, you can also buy at the exhibition all the garments in which we photographed our models.

The opening of the exhibition starts on Tuesday 19 April at 6 pm at the Ex Post gallery (it really is a former post office) at Příčná 1, Prague 1.

Work on the exhibition is still going on; I will keep you informed along the way about developments, news and possible changes.
