Over the past weeks and days several changes were made on www.jiriruzek.net that should contribute to greater comfort for visitors of the site.
One fundamental change concerns the photo gallery, where the possibility of enlarging photographs, more comfortable viewing and starting a slideshow has newly been added. This change has so far been applied only to the new photographs from 2010. Another big change was the addition of the category Fotoglosy (Photo Notes), which is more of a blog than classic news and of which this article is also a part. Changes also took place in communication, on several levels – a direct connection of the Fotoglosy category with Facebook, where all new information now appears automatically, further the possibility of bookmarking individual pages to more than 200 social networks and similar web services, subscribing to news via RSS or e-mail, the so-called newsletter, in Czech and/or English. The last change is automatic translation of all Czech articles into 52 world languages – the translator uses Google Translator and isn’t perfect, but hopefully better than none.
All the changes are happening on the fly and not everything always works on the first try. I will be glad if you write to me with your comments and suggestions on what content or functions you would welcome on www.jiriruzek.net and in what form. Don’t forget to try the new possibilities, and stay tuned, interesting news awaits you in the near future.
