We received a lovely testimonial for our group nude photography workshop. It is long, so I allow myself to print it in full.
The workshop with Jiří and Tereza was a great experience for me. That I’d learn something about working with a model or about light, and that I’d shoot lots of photos, I knew. But I didn’t expect that I’d start to look at nude photography completely differently, with a certain respect for this domain.

Jiří showed us how harmonious communication with a model can look; what looked simple actually means experience and the work of many years. The talented Tereza demonstrated the art of undressing with an entirely natural expression. She kept her character even when she stuck out her tongue or held a cigarette in her hand, which, by the way, made her so well known.
I can’t forget the game „XYZ“ (note: secret:), which proved to all of us that we have the ability to perceive and photograph using only a visual idea. Of course the big part of the photograph here was created by the playful Tereza herself, lit by Jiří. The photographer, though, pressed the shutter release and can boast an interesting view.
I won’t forget the soundtrack either – the firing of the Canons and Nikons of my colleagues, who were delighted with the many nudes shot, which thanks to Jiří’s direction and Tereza’s professionalism had no flaw. A flaw could be made here only by the photographer himself.
I met Jiří again after a week and we discussed mainly photography. He confessed his new love, the lady X (Fuji), with which he wants to emphasize his photographic signature of grey shadows even more.
I value Jiří Růžek as a sensitive and creative nude photographer and respect him for his openness in passing on his experience.
The workshop gave me more than I expected, and so thanks for everything.
After this workshop it is clear to me that I want to repeat it once more, but alone, only with Jiří and Tereza.
