‹ Photo Notes · 15 ledna, 2012
Together with a group of 15 photographers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia I have been invited to a series of exhibitions that will take place from summer roughly until the end of the year in Portugal. For now the dates, titles and places of the first two are known.
The first exhibition, titled „Naked in Algarve„, begins on 9 July at 3 p.m. in the gallery UNICA – Adega Cooperativa do Algarve em Lagoa (Lagoa, Algarve, Portugal). This exhibition will last until 1 October 2011 and, as its name suggests, it will again be mostly large-format nude photographs, many of which were made precisely in the Algarve region.
At the same place the photographs will subsequently be exhibited as part of the art fair ARTE ALGARVE IV, scheduled for 7 – 9 October 2011.
Exhibiting authors: Miloš ‚Burki‘ Burkhardt, Jan Černý, Daniel Hauser, Lukáš Dvořák, Ivan Mladenov, Boris Guljajev, Martin Iman, Václav Adam, Květoslav Vršovský, Michaela Kročáková, Lenka Čečilová, Karel Housa, 3-stan, Andre Heinlein and Jiří Růžek.
Further exhibitions in Portugal are now in preparation; as soon as the dates and places are confirmed, I will inform you.
